What is Return to Self?
Return to Self is an intentional homecoming for individuals, a space to reconnect with the body, energy, clarity, and inner voice. Following the success of our Fall 2025 inaugural retreat, the Summer 2026 edition is designed as an expansive, outdoor-focused experience centered on vitality, movement, mindfulness, and community.
Co-hosted by Nadia Murdock Fit and Hemlock Neversink, this intimate retreat is designed to help you shed the noise and
return to the truth of who you are. In addition, this program will have a featured Partnership with Wendy Verna, founder of Seagrass by Octo.
The retreat is grounded in our signature Return Arc:
Arrive: Slow down and settle, creating space for presence and inner stillness
Activate: Reconnect through joyful movement, journaling, and embodied practices
Integrate: Reflect and align, with tools to sustain wellbeing beyond the retreat
Programming will lean into outdoor movement, community gatherings, and nature-infused experiences that nourish from the inside out. A flagship offering for Summer 2026 is the Return to Motion Run Club, a guided running and movement workshop led by Nadia and a featured coach or athlete. This beginner-friendly experience blends warm-up and mobility, a group trail run or walk/run option, breathwork, body awareness, and reflective prompts focused on strength, discipline, and joy. The run club reflects the global rise of community-based movement as a powerful wellness and connection tool and opens the door for aligned brand partnerships.
We envision Return to Self: Summer 2026 as an annual gathering that continues to evolve, bringing together modern wellness, meaningful movement, and intentional community in a truly transformative setting.

This package includes your two night stay in the accommodation of your choice, a light continental breakfast each day and all special programming. Please see here for all of the many things that are always included in your stay with us, in addition to the special activities for this weekend package, such as movement classes and arts & crafts activities. Meet the Instructor
Nadia is a Mindset & Movement Coach, B.A. Psychology, Certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Founder of Nadia Murdock Fit.
In her journey, Nadia lacked movement and was weighed down mentally with fears that made living a full life impossible. Nadia eventually embraced the transformative power of a health-focused mind and body to become a Certified Fitness Instructor, coach, and writer.
Nadia's education and experience are in the interlocking battle of fitness and psychology, including pregnancy and postpartum. Her mission and purpose are to motivate others to adopt a self-positive mindset leading to healthier choices and body confidence.
Nadia's 'Train Your Mind, Change Your Body' philosophy is echoed in her content (writing, interviews, social media, newsletter, videos, press commentary) and digital footprint. Her robust portfolio leading the charge to help women take charge of their minds and bodies extends over a decade.
