Experience Family Week at Hemlock Neversink. Dive into a week of laughter, exploration, and unforgettable moments beneath starlit skies. Nature goat hikes to cozy firepit evenings are only a few of the moments that will lead to creating lifelong bonds.

During these weeks, we offer a thoughtful family-friendly itinerary, so you and the family can simply enjoy being together. Your adventure includes goat hikes, fun crafting sessions, movement classes and more!

Good news: Kids 15 and under,
are on us!

  • Experience Spring at Hemlock Neversink. The property comes to life as the snow melts off the trails and the flowers start to bloom. There will be spring-themed arts & crafts experiences, child-friendly movement classes and outdoor activities with the goats that will have kids of all ages engaged throughout the week. Our team in Bittersweet will be cooking up some specials that will have you begging for seconds. Of course, no trip to Hemlock would be complete without a day in the spa. “Movies at the Dive In” is back for another round of family-friendly movies and poolside refreshments. For our adult visitors, our spa treatment menu will feature springtime specials to encourage you to join us in spring renewal. Don’t miss out on our next family week, when our adult summer camp vibes become available to families so everyone has a chance to join in the fun!

  • Bring the whole family and tap into your inner child during the holiday season. From all-ages arts & crafts to kid-focused movement classes and goat activities made just for little animal lovers, there’s something magical for everyone. Throughout the season, enjoy festive workshops that feel straight out of a storybook: gingerbread house making, wreath crafting, baking classes, and cookie decorating—all layered on top of our daily movement and arts & crafts offerings. Expect cozy moments, creative messes, and memories that last long after the last cookie crumb is gone.

Movement Classes for Kids

Why should parents have all the fun and relaxation - during these weeks, we will be modifying our daily movement classes to also accommodate those 15 and under. Holidays are meant to be spent together, and this includes yoga and movement classes.

Culinary Moments with Chef

Families are invited to savor the joy of eating well together, and should look forward to many kids-friendly menus available at Bittersweet.

Goat Hikes

Take a morning hike with our resident goats and Meagan from Frederick Farm Goat Sanctuary. These hikes will be tailored to the little ones during these weeks

Nightly Bonfire & S’mores

Roast marshmallows at the campfire. It's the perfect way to end your day with warmth and sweet memories (literally).

Arts & Craft Classes

Imaginative projects and hands-on activities, our craft classes provide the perfect opportunity for families to bond while creating beautiful, personalized pieces to take home.

Self-guided Stargazing

Simply grab a blanket, a warm drink, and recline on our dedicated stargazing deck to take in the breathtaking night sky.

FAQs

  • All group fitness classes, special activities, craft workshops, spa and property access are included in your stay. Children 15 and under stay for free.

  • Our solo traveler rooms have one queen bed and all other room types have one king bed. Cots will be available in select room types. Feel free to call our team to give you the best suggestions for your family.

  • While all kiddos are welcome during this time, we recommend 4 & up to get the most out of the experience.

  • No, our rooms do not have bathtubs.

  • Arrangements can be made upon availability.
